EVA CELIN

Eva María Celín was born in Bogotá, Colombia in 1980. She holds a degree in Fine Arts from the National University of Colombia.In 2006 she won the Fernando Botero Award. She has participated in group and solo exhibitions all over the world.

Eva Celín makes paintings, drawings and works of mixed art.

She leans towards romanticism, generally figurative art and in most cases from it and influenced by photography and classic cinema.

Celín creates works in which we can appreciate a fascination for the clarity of the content and a romantic and minimalist attitude. The work is always graceful, the human figuration is stylized and elegant, and natural landscapes are some of the themes that pervade her work and career.

The colors and shapes of his pieces are integrated into the composition to excite and connect the viewer through their feelings.
